Murals developed for the wall, the room and the viewing distance.

The wall sets the scale, the room sets the
distance it is seen from, so the work is drawn for both
before anything reaches the wall.
The work
Muradipa is a mural and visual art practice, working since 2018. The work is
painted: interior walls, hospitality and F&B spaces, brand spaces and large wall
artwork, each piece developed for the surface it is painted on and the distance
it is seen from.
A mural has to hold a room. Proportion, colour and where the eye lands decide
whether it works, so the artwork is drawn to the real wall rather than to a
rectangle.

Muradipa — Mural & Visual Art.
Mural Design
Murals developed for the wall, the room and the viewing distance.
Composition, scale and colour are worked out against the actual
surface, so the artwork reads correctly from where people stand.
Interior & Hospitality Murals
Mural work for restaurants, hospitality spaces and interiors, where the
artwork has to sit behind furniture, signage and light without
competing with any of them.
Large-Scale Wall Art
Full-wall and multi-surface work, painted directly on site.
The artwork is developed at the size of the wall,
not scaled up from a drawing.
Artwork Development
Most of the work happens before anything is painted. The wall is
measured, the composition is drawn to fit it, and colour is set
against the light of the room it will be seen in.
On-Site Execution
The finished piece is transferred to the wall and painted in place,
so the painting is built in the room rather than assembled
somewhere else and fitted in afterwards.
